About this boat

A classic wooden motor yacht, built in 1994 and kept in running commission rather than retired to the dock — 27 metres, three double cabins and a crew of five, the kind of boat that reads as a statement the moment she comes alongside. The day runs to Kai and Naka Islands, Phang Nga Bay, Koh Maiton and Koh Kai, or Koh Hong in Krabi. Full board is served on overnight charters, snacks, fruit, soft drinks and local beer throughout, with a bottle of French rosé each day. A kayak, paddleboard and fishing rods are aboard, and return transfers from any hotel in Phuket or the airport are included. Overnight charters run from two to seven nights, with a four-night-minimum run out to the Similan Islands during the open season. Operated with one of our private-charter partners in Phuket.

For everyone's safety the crew cannot take guests who are pregnant or have a serious back or heart condition. Tell us in the request and we will suggest a gentler day.

Extras and surcharges

  • Peak season, 20 December to 10 January: full day ฿231,000; 2 days/1 night ฿267,000, rising to 7 days/6 nights ฿1,460,000
  • Similan Islands overnight rate (from 4 days): 4 days/3 nights ฿830,000, up to 7 days/6 nights ฿1,512,000; Similan national park fees not included
  • Payment: 30% on confirmation, balance 14 days before the charter (within 14 days: full amount on confirmation; within 48 hours: full amount before departure)
  • Cancellation more than 2 weeks before the charter: reschedule within 24 months with amounts held as credit, or a refund less a 10% admin fee on the full charter price
  • Should the captain cancel the charter due to unsafe weather conditions, guests may reschedule to another available date or receive a full refund. Any weather-related cancellation is confirmed by 5.00 pm on the day before the charter.
  • The Similan and Surin marine parks close each year during the south-west monsoon

What if the weather turns?

The captain decides on the morning. If the sea is unsafe we move the day or return your deposit in full. From May to October we plan Phang Nga Bay and the east-coast islands rather than Phi Phi.

How do I book and pay?

Send the request with your date and guests. We confirm availability in your language, usually within the hour, and send a deposit link once the day is agreed: cards, SBP and MIR.
