About this boat

A 1954 Halvorsen motor cruiser, 15.3 metres of varnished teak and a story few other boats in Phuket can tell — kept in commission rather than restored as a showpiece, and chartered as a working classic. The three-hour sunset cruise runs most evenings; a five-hour half day reaches Rang Yai and the Kai Islands; the eight-hour full day covers Phang Nga Bay or the four islands off Krabi. Crew of three — skipper, deckhand and hostess — serve a gourmet lunch on day charters, with fruit, water, local beer and a bottle of wine throughout. Overnight charters from two to seven nights are available, with the crew living aboard. Operated with one of our private-charter partners in Phuket.

Prices are for the whole boat. Crew and fuel are included unless the boat says otherwise.

For everyone's safety the crew cannot take guests who are pregnant or have a serious back or heart condition. Tell us in the request and we will suggest a gentler day.

Extras and surcharges

• Each guest above eight: ฿1,500 full day, ฿750 half day
• Seasonal and peak-period (22 Dec–5 Jan) rates run higher than the base figure quoted — ask for the current seasonal figure
• Shuttle to/from accommodation: ฿3,000; Koh Yao or Ao Po Grand Marina: ฿10,500; Chalong Pier or Krabi: ฿15,750
• Payment: 30% on confirmation, balance 14 days before the charter (within 14 days: full amount on confirmation; within 48 hours: full amount before departure)
• Cancellation more than 2 weeks before the charter: reschedule within 24 months with amounts held as credit, or a refund less a 10% admin fee on the full charter price
• Should the captain cancel the charter due to unsafe weather conditions, guests may reschedule to another available date or receive a full refund. Any weather-related cancellation is confirmed by 5.00 pm on the day before the charter.
