About this boat

AUMAKUA is a sailing catamaran out of Ao Chalong built for the afternoon into evening: snorkelling at Kahung Beach on Coral Island with a SUP board and inflatable floats, then a sunset run past Promthep and Laem Krating capes with music on board and Wi-Fi for the photos. The price covers the whole boat for up to twenty guests and includes the captain and crew, life jackets, mask and snorkel, SUP board, floats, snacks, soft drinks, water and fruit, a beach chair at Kahung Beach, and passenger insurance. A Thai dinner on board, a guide and your villa transfer are added per guest; the boat takes up to thirty guests for ฿19,000. For everyone's safety the crew cannot take guests who are pregnant or have a serious back or heart condition. Tell us in the request and we will suggest a gentler day.

Where does the boat leave from?

AUMAKUA private sailing catamaran: Coral Island & Promthep sunset departs from Chalong Pier. We can arrange the transfer from your hotel; tell us where you stay in the request.

What if the weather turns?

The captain decides on the morning. If the sea is unsafe we move the day or return your deposit in full. From May to October we plan Phang Nga Bay and the east-coast islands rather than Phi Phi.

How do I book and pay?

Send the request with your date and guests. We confirm availability in your language, usually within the hour, and send a deposit link once the day is agreed: cards, SBP and MIR.
