About this boat

Maiton is the quiet private island east of Phuket: clear water, a reef worth snorkelling, and a chance of dolphins on the crossing. Your private speedboat anchors there for a swim and a slow circuit of the island before heading to Kahung Beach on Coral Island, where lunch and the afternoon's sea activities are on your own account. The price covers the whole boat for up to twenty guests and includes the captain and crew, life jackets, mask and snorkel, a beach chair at Kahung Beach, soft drinks and seasonal fruit on board, and passenger insurance. Lunch, a guide, dinner on board and your villa transfer are added per guest; a larger boat for up to thirty-five guests is ฿23,000. For everyone's safety the crew cannot take guests who are pregnant or have a serious back or heart condition. Tell us in the request and we will suggest a gentler day.

Where does the boat leave from?

Private speedboat day: Maiton Island & Coral Island departs from Chalong Pier. We can arrange the transfer from your hotel; tell us where you stay in the request.

What if the weather turns?

The captain decides on the morning. If the sea is unsafe we move the day or return your deposit in full. From May to October we plan Phang Nga Bay and the east-coast islands rather than Phi Phi.

How do I book and pay?

Send the request with your date and guests. We confirm availability in your language, usually within the hour, and send a deposit link once the day is agreed: cards, SBP and MIR.
